Hi! My name is Kristie and welcome to Purple Wisteria Serenity! I am incredibly excited that you are here.

I am a wife to a truly wonderful and hardworking man, stay-at-mom to an adorable baby boy and a dog mom of 3 two crazy Welsh Pembroke Corgi’s and an Australian Shepherd. Never a quiet or dull moment in our home that’s for sure!

Eight years. That is the approximate amount of time my husband and I were dating/engaged before we decided to finally tie the knot back in 2015. has it really been that long already?! Why did it take us so long you ask? That is a really great question, one that neither one of us can ever really answer. There are times we look back and wish we would have started married life and our family sooner because let’s face it, we aren’t getting any younger! But in all honesty, I believe with all my heart that God knew exactly what he was doing with us and our relationship. That time really helped us become stronger as a couple. Plus, the bonus of it all is that we got to have a lot of US time before we started our family. Which I wouldn’t trade for anything! Now we are living our Happily Ever After every single day making memories as we go!

Just two years later and here I am right in the middle of being a mom. Can I tell you, I absolutely love every single moment of it too!! YES, even with those sleepless, exhausted days when I really don’t think I will make it through an hour let alone the day. I can truly say we are overly blessed to have this little man in our lives. He brings us endless amounts of joy in our little family!

Purple Wisteria Serenity blog is my place to share with you my home décor inspirations, the little and big projects that you might have to tackle in your home, design ideas that may help spark a bit of creativity that will add the personality and warmth you are looking for and so much more!

My dream for the future of Purple Wisteria Serenity is to be able to inspire a bit of creativity and warmth to those around me and for each person that visits to walk away feeling like they can truly create the home they love through décor!

I have a lot of little ideas that I do hope to add to Purple Wisteria Serenity as time goes on, one of which will hopefully be a small shop of stationary and printable items that I want to share with everyone! So, stay tuned for that at a later date!
